Profile Qualifications
Early Childhood Educator / Assistant Teacher
- Bachelors certificate in education/ B.ed or Bachelors degree in psychology/ child psychology/ developmental psychology
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting
- Qualification or training in Early Childhood Education (favorable)– diploma/ post graduate certificate
- Strong understanding of early years frameworks like EYFS, reggio- emilia, waldorf, te-wariki and developmentally-appropriate practices
- Passion for working with young children
- Patience, warmth, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- English proficiency – mandatory
- Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow in the community of the preschool
- Reflective and flexible mindset
Lead Teacher
- Bachelors certificate in education/ B.ed or equivalent or Bachelors degree in psychology/ child psychology/ developmental psychology
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting
- Qualification or training in Early Childhood Education (mandatory)– diploma/ post graduate certificate
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices
- Passion for working with young children
